  23. I am trying to decide between the Motorola Power and USR Courier
  24. modems.  The thing that the Power has over the Lifestyle or Sportster
  25. is Flash ROM that lets you update the modem via a download, rather
  26. than popping a chip out.

  28. One thing I haven't been able to find out is if the Power series
  29. updates the datapump code or not (anyone?).  The Motorola web page
  30. mentions a confusing sentence that makes me think it cannot update the
  31. datapump. So for example, they will not be able to upgrade to 33.6 via
  32. a download like the Courier is capable of.  If anyone knows if I am
  33. reading this right (or wrong), I'ld love to hear from you.

  35. Basically, if can't decide whether I want to spend the money on a
  36. Courier.  It seems to be the concensus choice at that price range.
